Hi guys. how are you all doing? I hope the weather hasn’t put a damper on your spirit? 🙂
So, on this week’s blog update, I will be discussing on how to make your stew taste different. I have spoken to people who say, they are tired of their freshly made stew, tasting the same as last week’s one. I told them not to worry, its simple 🙂
Cooking with the same spice will make the stew taste the same. even if you fry it the stew. The main thing you need to understand is that your stock determines the taste, be it chicken or beef. The idea is to spice things up, not necessarily with spices, but with natural ingredients.
Here are a few tips.
When preparing to boil your chicken or beef, peel an onion, garlic and ginger. blend all three together in a blender, and pour over the chicken or beef. stir the mixture into the chicken or beef, and let it sit for a couple of hours. This method will ensure that the natural goodness is infused with the chicken/beef. After a couple of hours, put it on fire and cook with little water. Ensure that the water is not too much, as this will dilute the taste.
You can then add your other spices, but as minimal as possible. This is so that the goodness can be tasted in the chicken. once cooked, cook your stew as normal, and serve. you will notice the pulp goodness in your chicken at first bite, even your family will appreciate the goodness.
So now, your stew doesn’t always have to taste the same every time. you can alternate either onion and garlic or onion and ginger and with your other spices.
Please… try to use fresh ginger and garlic. this will help in enhancing the taste and you can enjoy the natural goodness.
Pulp: Onion and garlic are all pulps.
That’s it from me.
Catch you all next week,
