Hi guys, how are you all doing today? I am looking to start a new series of 15 minutes meals. This will be aimed at breakfast,Lunch and dinner.
I understand that everyone gets so busy at times that you just want to grab something and eat. Well which ever way, make sure you have a fantastic meal 😉
Duchess wraps can be eaten either for lunch or dinner and it can be accompanied with a light soup or a nice cup of tea.😉
Let’s get started. 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 wholewheat tortilla or deli wraps
Chicken or turkey breast - Sweet red pepper
- Sweet yellow pepper
- Sweet orange pepper
- Half a teaspoon of oil
- Smoked paprika
- Cayenne pepper
- Hot chilli pepper
- Cumin
- Black pepper
- Knorr cube
- Light or low fat mayonnaise
UTENSILS:
- Chopping board
- Frying pan
- Grilling pan
Prep time: 3 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Total time: 18 minutes
Method:
First of all wash your hands, wipe them dry.
Next chop the chicken or turkey breast. To save time, it’s best to buy ready chopped ones 😊
Next add the spices to your own preference, mix well with your hands and set aside.
In the meantime slice and deseeded the peppers.
Heat up the oil, add the chicken and seal for 2 minutes (sealing allows the flavours to lock in the chicken) .
After two minutes of sealing the chicken, add the peppers.
Next pop it into the grill and grill for 15 minutes.
While it’s grilling, wash and slice the lettuce.
Check on the chicken.
Next mix the mayonnaise, paprika and cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly and set aside
About 1 minute before it’s done, put the wraps in the oven and reduce the heat. (This will allow the wraps not break or become too crispy.
Turn of the heat. Put the wrap on a chopping board, add the grilled chicken and peppers, slice more fresh pepper and add it to the wrap.
and finish it the off with chopped lettuce.
Before wrapping it, add the sauce, roll it tightly and slice it into half.
That’s it you are done.
