I wanted to have a quick full English breakfast,but I decided to switch up a little bit. I love eggs, it’s a good source of protein and I try to spice it up in various ways. Check out my egg nd plantain fritata. You will love it. This recipe is also great for those looking for a light breakfast, lunch or dinner, and it’s fit fam approved! Healthy goodness
Omelette can be done in various ways, but I wanted mine elevated and different. Without further ado, lets get started shall we.
1/2 cup of milk
2 stalks of spring onions
1 Habenero pepper
1/2 a teaspoon of curry
1/2 of chicken seasoning
Half a knorr cube
Non stick frying pan
Prep time : 10 minutes (includes preheated oven time)
Cooking time : 10 minutes
Total time : 30 minutes
Preheat the first to 190 degrees
Next chop all the vegetables.
Sautée lightly in the frying pan to release the flavours. 2 minutes
Break the eggs into a bowl and Whisk until you have incorporated air into it
Next add the milk.
Add the knorr cube and mix.
Pour the egg mixture into the frying pan. Mix gently.
Place it in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
After 5 minutes, remove from the oven and check the egg by using a knife to check if has cooked through. It will still be wet inside, so pop back in and continue baking.
At 10 minutes, put your Your knife in the omelette, it should come out clean.
