yup, you read that right. Appleteani. I coined the name from appletini, a cocktail drink. It’s summer and I thought why not create a drink that everyone can enjoy and includes no alcohol!
I also decided to add a twist to it. I seats of using all the normal ingredients, I decided to add another one that will make it stand out.
And that is Tea. Yup. Tea has antioxidants. It’s has lots of benefits to it. I also wanted a drink that even my fitfam readers can also enjoy.
You can use two types of tea of your choice to make this drink. You can use normal tea (caffeine and non decaf) or use Grean tea. Either way, everyone can enjoy it.
Ok let’s get started shall we 🙂
- 1 cup of Tea
- 1 1/2 cup of Apple juice
- 1/8 cup of Lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 medium sized Apple
- 1 tablespoon of honey (adjust to your liking)
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooling time: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Boil water and brew the tea. Make sure it’s not brewed for more than a minute.
Allow it to cool down.
In a separate bowl, add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
Once cooled, now add and the tea
Mix well and add the apple slices. Refrigerate and allow to infuse.
That’s it. All done
